Unpopular Opinions #2

Here we go again! It's been a long time since I actually had my first unpopular opinion, so I am back and writing this.
1. The Infernal Devices is by far better than The Mortal Instruments
A lot of people have this opinion as well, but I would like to explain more why I feel this. I have never been a fan of longer book series and sometimes it is developed well, like Harry Potter, but I feel like The Mortal Instruments just bored me out at some point. I am interested to try and get into it again, but I stopped reading after the 3rd book and I felt like the twists that are supposed to keep you interested were just lacking in the development of this story.
2. To Kill a Mockingbird
This is such a classic and it literally breaks my heart every single time I tell people that I didn't like this book. I have tried to read this book many many many times, and each time I just did not like it. The scene I loved the most was the court room scene and that was it. I liked the story with Boo Radley and all of that, but I felt like the story just did not connect together like I wanted it to.
3. Any Sarah Dessen Book
You would not believe how many times I have tried to read a Sarah Dessen book and attempt to like it. The book I have come closest to liking is Saint Anything, but then I got halfway through and it just went downhill... I guess it might just be the writing style.
4. The 5th Wave
When the movie came out for this book, I was excited and decided to buy the book, but I got through 20-30 pages of this book and was so disappointed. It didn't hook me right away from the get go like I expected and it was just so upsetting. I actually ended up DNRing this book and unhauling it.
Tell me your unpopular opinions!
